GED®/ESOL (TCC Adult Ed. Program)

TCC offers the following program areas in traditional face-to-face classroom settings and also on-line:

  • Adult Basic Education (ABE) – Pre-GED® level courses
  • GED® Test Preparation – Grade Equivalent 9-12th level courses to prepare for the GED® test
  • English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) – Provides English language instruction to adult learners who read/write in a language other than English.

All of these program areas are supported by our Career Advising Program called “Career Pathways.”  The Career Pathways Program provides individual career planning assistance and tools to all Adult Education students and an intensive career planning curriculum for all of the Adult Education courses.

Classes typically meet four days per week (excluding holidays) on TCC’s campus for 15 weeks per Semester (Summer Term is 10 weeks). Classes are in three hours blocks and usually meet from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. or 6 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. See the Adult Ed Academic Calendar for specific dates.
