Adult Education

Tallahassee Community College Adult Education delivers GED preparation and testing, English language instruction, career counseling, and TCC student benefits to facilitate transition into postsecondary education, technical programs, and the workforce. We offer courses in:
  • Adult Basic Education (ABE)
  • General Education Development (GED) preparation, and
  • English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

NOTE: ONLINE ABE/GED COURSES ARE NOW OFFERED. CALL 201-8760 FOR MORE INFORMATION. (Please note that online students needing lab assistance during evening hours must do so by appointment only through the online instructor.)

The “Career Pathways” initiative is a component of all of our courses.  Its curriculum connects adult education programs, work, and postsecondary education.

We provide an innovative and challenging program that encourages students' love of learning and promotes personal growth and satisfaction. We not only provide academics, but at TCC Adult Education, we also care and embrace these core values:

  • Compassion
  • Acceptance
  • Responsibility
  • Encouragement

The completion of the courses results in a student's participation in TCC's Adult Education Graduation. Please see the YouTube video below featuring our graduates.
