The Tallahassee Community College Police Department (TCCPD) consists of 9 sworn
law enfacement officers, 1 Sergeant, 1 Lieutenant, and the Chief of Police. Additionally, the department has 8 Public Safety Officers. These are non-sworn individuals who assist with the security operations of the college. Support staff dispatch and handle administrative operations
for the department. Patrol operations are provided 24 hours a day, 6 days a week. The Tallahassee Community College comprises six campus locations in three counties.  The campus includes 85 buildings, over 5000 parking spaces on nearly 1500 acres.

The Tallahassee Community College Police De​partment (TCCPD) supports the mission of Tallahassee Community College by promoting a safe and secure environment for higher education. TCCPD combines proactive, reactive, and educational law enforcement services for our campus where diverse social, cultural and academic values are allowed to develop and prosper.
