Early Alert Progress Reports

As part of TCC’s commitment to student success, the College has created a student progress report within new software, Starfish, that allows faculty to comment on student progress. This progress report allows faculty to address any concerns they have about a student’s performance or attendance in their class. The reporting system also allows faculty to provide positive feedback for student excelling in their course(s) as well.

In order to view this information, please log in to your Starfish account through Blackboard. Once you have logged into Starfish and set up your profile, you will be able to view any flag(s) on your main page.

These early progress reports are intended to keep you informed of your progress. We strongly encourage you to meet with a Student Success Advisor in the TCC Advising Center if you are concerned about any flags and to communicate with your Professor to maintain your success in the course.
