Tallahassee Community College: The College of Choice
TCC is the college experience you’ve been looking for
allahassee Community College is one of the nation’s top community colleges. Every semester, more than 14,000 students choose TCC as the next step in their education. Many are preparing for transfer to a university (nearly 75 percent of our A.A. graduates go on to study at state universities in Florida). Others are learning the skills they need to move directly into rewarding careers in healthcare, law enforcement, computer programming and other growing fields.
TCC offers many transfer options across the state for those whose academic plans include a bachelor’s degree or higher. These include our Golden Guarantee Programs, University Partners and Other Transfer Options.
TCC is dedicated to helping you succeed
TCC gives you the tools you need to be successful. To help you succeed in the classroom, our Learning Commons provides one-on-one and small group tutoring, as well as study rooms, open-access computers, workshops, seminars, and technology and multi-media support. To help you succeed after graduation, TCC’s Career Center offers services including professional development workshops, resume/cover letter assistance and internship opportunities.
TCC is always evolving
TCC isn’t content to stand still. The world is changing, the workforce is changing, and TCC changes and grows to meet the needs of our students. Sometimes the growth may seem subtle—such as creating new ways to connect with students through original programing on our YouTube and cable channels. In other ways, our growth is dramatic, like the development of our new Wakulla Environmental Institute. Yet all of our new initiatives, programs and facilities work towards one overarching goal: student success

So many elements come together in Tallahassee to create a city that’s unique. Tallahassee is definitely a college town, with more than 60,000 students studying at Florida State University, Florida A&M University and Tallahassee Community College.
