Pre-Collegiate Programs21st Century
TCC's 21st Century Community Learning Program supports local Wakulla County elementary and middle school students by preparing at-risk students to succeed both academically and personally. Funded by the Florida Department of Education this program is offered free of changes to qualifying Wakulla County Students.
The Florida Department of Education awarded the 21st Century grant to TCC to support a 21st CCLC program to serve Wakulla County students. The program is housed at the Wakulla County Community Center and serves students enrolled at eight elementary and middle schools throughout Wakulla County. These schools include: Crawfordville Elementary, Shadeville Elementary, Medart Elementary, Riversink Elementary, Riversprings Middle, Wakulla Middle, Wakulla Coast Charter, and Wakulla Christian School.
The Wakulla 21st CCLC program plays a critically important role in changing the lives of at-risk students by preparing them to succeed academically and beyond. The Wakulla 21st CCLC aims to improve students' academic performance, increase healthy behaviors and increase family involvement.
The Wakulla 21st CCLC will provide enrichment to Wakulla County youth currently enrolled in grades kindergarten through 8th in the areas of math, reading, science, and writing, additionally the program will provide project based learning, daily homework centers, tutoring, organized physical activity, computer programming character education and community service projects to all participating students. Families of participating students will be provided with opportunities for literacy and educational development, the program provides a wide range of opportunities in areas of education, personal development and recreation that will include business partners, mentors and educational facilitators. Transportation from participating Wakulla County public elementary and middle schools to the Wakulla 21st CCLC site is provided during the school year directly after the regular school day. The Wakulla 21st Century Community is a federally funded program and is offered of free of charge to qualifying Wakulla County Students and their families.

Grant Narrative & Program Deliverables
We accept applications year-round, and students are accepted into the program as spots become available. Just follow these simple steps:

- Drop it off in the TCC Wakulla Center or Wakulla 21st CCLC-Site
For the application to be complete, you must submit photocopies of the Driver's License for Authorized Persons Allowed to Pick-Up your Child, Including the Parents.
