Tallahassee, Fla. (March 13, 2019)– Tallahassee Community College’s Associate of Science in Nursing program was ranked 7th in the state for “2019 Best RN Programs in Florida” by RegisteredNursing.org. That’s up five spots from TCC’s 12th place last year.
The website compiles the rankings by analyzing current and historical RN exam “pass rates” of 154 RN programs in Florida. Programs that are reviewed include schools that offer an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Direct-Entry Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degrees.
TCC expanded its ASN and began accepting BSN students in the summer of 2016. The first class of seven students graduated in fall 2018.
There are currently 80 students in the BSN program. The RN-BSN program is completed online.
TCC is now accepting program applications for the fall 2019 nursing cohort. The application deadline is Wednesday, May 15, at 5 p.m.
