Steps to TCC
Accelerated students in public, private or home education programs are eligible to apply for the Dual Enrollment Program. Students can take classes that will satisfy their high school graduation requirements while also counting as college credit towards a TCC Associates degree. Students can also take courses that pertain to their major area(s) of interest. Dual enrolled students must choose either an Associate in Arts Pathway or an Associate in Science Pathway. TCC waives all tuition and fees for dual-enrolled students.
Meet Admissions Criteria
Meet with your high school guidance counselor or Home Education Official (parent/guardian) to verify you meet admissions criteria and determine if dual enrollment is right for you.
Apply to TCC
- Apply for admission to TCC using our online application. Be sure to complete the Dual Enrollment application to avoid delayed processing time.
- After you submit you will receive a confirmation page with your TCC Identification number, email address and password. Keep this page for your records as you will need this information to log in to Workday and access your TCC email.
Submit Test Scores
Request official copies of placement test scores (ACT, SAT, PERT) be sent to TCC. Private and Home School students may test at the TCC Testing Center. Public school students may test at TCC only in the summer. Please contact the Testing Center to schedule your exam.
Obtain Permission to Register
For Public/Private Students
Meet with your High School Guidance Counselor to verify you meet admissions criteria.
For Home Schooled Students
Meet with your Home Education Official to verify you meet admissions criteria and to complete required forms. All forms may be submitted to the Dual Enrollment Coordinator at dualenrollment@tcc.fl.edu.

Search for Courses and Obtain Permission to Register
Find the courses that are right for you and meet with your High School Guidance counselor or Home Education Official (parent/guardian) for course qualification and course approval.
For Public/Private Students: Complete the Dual Enrollment Permission to Register Form and list the courses you would like to take. Be sure to include the course section number, as this corresponds to the days and times your class meets. Your High School Guidance Counselor will submit this form to TCC for you.
For Home Schooled students: Complete the Dual Enrollment Permission to Register Form- Home Education and list the courses you would like to take. Be sure to include the course section number, as this corresponds to the days and times your class meets. Please submit the completed form to the Dual Enrollment Coordinator at dualenrollment@tcc.fl.edu.

Not sure which courses to take? Sign up for a virtual advising session with the TCC Dual Enrollment Coordinator here: Events
TCC will register students for their classes based on the Permission to Register Form. Permission to Register Forms will be processed in the order they are received. Please allow 3 business days for your form to be processed. Students will receive a confirmation text and email (to their TCC email account) with instructions on next steps once they have been registered.
Visit Workday and other Student Resources
Familiarize yourself with our online portal, Workday, where you can access your email, student records, registration and much more. Be sure to check your TCC email frequently as that is the College’s official means of communication to students. If you need assistance, visit Student Central FAQ.
Download the MYTCC app to stay up-to-date on Dual Enrollment events. Login to the app using your TCC login credentials.

Get Books and Supplies
Get books and supplies for your classes by visiting your High School Guidance Counselor or Home Education Official. For home school students, please refer to the TCC Campus Bookstore Agreement for instructions.
