Student ID/Access Card

The TCC Student ID/Access Card is used for students to check out materials, access testing and access study rooms at the TCC Library, the Academic Computing Center Labs, the Career Services Center and other campus facilities and labs. The Student ID is also used as your StarMetro bus pass, if you paid for this service.

Obtain An ID

To obtain a TCC student ID you must complete and submit the Student ID Request Form online. This form can be found in Workday > TCC College Forms > Submit a New Form > Cashier's Office > Student ID Request Form. You must upload a valid state issued ID along with a photograph (see specific instructions on the form) which will be used for the ID.

Note to New students: Your first ID is paid for as part of your tuition and fees. You will be able to pick up the requested ID, in the Cashier's Office, the week prior to classes starting if you have either paid your tuition and fees or have financial aid that covers the cost of your tuition and fees. Please bring a valid photo ID to verify your identity when picking up your TCC student ID.

Replacement ID

To replace your TCC student ID you must complete and submit the Student ID Request Form online. This form can be found in Workday > TCC College Forms > Submit a New Form > Cashier's Office > Student ID Request Form. You must upload a valid state issued ID along with a photograph (see specific instructions on the form) which will be used for the ID.

Please allow 24 business hours for the $10 replacement ID charge to post to your account. When the charge is paid your ID will be printed. You may pick up your ID in the Cashier's Office. Please bring a valid photo ID to verify your identity when picking up your TCC student ID.

 Parking Decal

Students may obtain a parking decal from the Cashier's Office during normal business hours. You will need your tag number for a decal to be issued.

 Discounted Bus Pass on StarMetro

Tallahassee Community College and the City of Tallahassee have partnered to offer TCC students, faculty and staff discounted passes for unlimited use of StarMetro bus services during Fall, Spring and Summer semesters.

Discounted StarMetro passes can be purchased for $99 per semester. This fee can be charged against student financial aid, if funding is sufficient, by providing authorization on the StarMetro Charge Authorization electronic form in Workday > TCC College Forms > Submit a New Form > Financial Aid > StarMetro Charge Authorization. Please see below for application deadlines. This pass allows for unlimited use of bus service for customers using his or her valid TCC ID. There are no refunds available on this bus pass once the form is submitted. Please allow two business days for payment processing before using StarMetro services.
