Student Accessibility Services

Are you a student with a disability preparing to take classes at Tallahassee Community College? Do you have concerns about registration, receiving accommodations, or getting around campus? The Student Accessibility Services (SAS) Office is committed to providing the access you need to do your best during your time here.

TCC is committed to creating an accessible environment where individuals are viewed on the basis of their ability, not their disability. The Student Accessibility Services Office assists students in receiving educational accommodations, academic advising and other educational support services.

1. Complete the online Application for Student Accessibility Services

This application will provide information that will help us support you and your educational goals. If you need the application in an alternate format, please let the SAS Office know.

Meet Our Staff

Emily Rattini-Reich – Assistant Director of Student Services

Hello and welcome to Student Accessibility Services! I’m Emily and I have the great pleasure of working with an amazing team of folks here at TCC. We all share a mission to work collaboratively to ensure that students are given the opportunity to be successful and make the most of their time here. Every visitor to our office can expect an inviting environment free of judgment or stigma. Personally, one of my favorite parts of my job is watching our students grow and celebrate their success. My second favorite part of my job is working with such an incredible team of people. In my free time you are likely to find me hanging out with my cat furbabies and friends, lounging at the beach, traveling and taking road trips, or brushing up on hair and makeup tutorials to sharpen my skills!

Jonathan Davis - Student Accessibility Advisor

Howdy, I’m Jonathan Davis. I’ve worked in different areas of higher education including everything from student housing to Greek Life. I am a driven individual, focused on student success. My goal is to help students achieve their personal, academic and career goals. On the weekends I like to play video games, binge watch TV series and play with my dog, Nina. I also enjoy traveling, free food and free t-shirts!

Danny James – Student Accessibility Advisor

Hello!  I am Danny James and I have the privilege of working with a very diverse group of students here in Student Services.  Whether it be a student with a disability or a veteran you can count on me to help guide your success here at TCC.  I take great pride in encouraging students who may come in with some sort of barrier; my job is to help tear down that barrier. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, hunting, fishing or simply enjoying the outdoors.  I’m also very active with my church and serve as the head coach of a local judo team.

Lindsey Hugen - Student Services Staff Assistant

Lindsey Hugen grew up in Little Rock, Arkansas, before moving to Tallahassee with her partner Collin. They live in a cozy bungalow in Tallahassee with their calico cat, Tuesday, and an Italian Greyhound named Julian. On long weekends you may spot them at a nearby sinkhole, or perhaps eating oysters on a porch in New Orleans.  Lindsey loves helping students find their home at TCC.

Margaret Stevens – Front Desk Assistant

Hey, how are you doing today? My name is Ms. Margaret and I work at the front desk of Student Services. I enjoy the opportunity to interact with students, staff and faculty and I love that I am still a lifelong learner. When I’m not at work I am spending quality time with my family and cooking up some great soul food that will make you want to pull up a chair to my table!

Victoria Gonzalez – Front Desk Assistant

Hey, Victoria Gonzalez here! You can call me Vic, I work at the front desk in Student Services. It’s cool to work at the school that I graduated from and I enjoy meeting different people here in the office. You can catch me on the Student Services Tram providing on campus transportation for people with mobility limitations. In my free time I’m hanging out with friends, listening to music, going out dancing and cooking up a good meal!
