What is the Talon's Market?

Talon’s Market is a free on-campus marketplace for students experiencing food insecurity. Food insecurity is defined as the state of being without reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food. According to the 2018 Food Insecurity report by the United States Government Accountability Office, 30 percent of college students are food insecure. Of those 30 percent, 56 percent are working, and 75 percent already receive financial aid.

TCC is responding to this all too common crisis by:

A) Feeding students      B) Identifying the cause of this food insecurity     C) Referring students to resources to help eliminate the root cause of their food insecurity

If you are a currently enrolled TCC student experiencing food insecurity, please visit the Talon's Market. Our Case Manager is available to assist any students looking for additional free food services.

Please read the Market Rules and Student Support offered through the Talon's Market program. Click this Talons Market Rules and Support link.
