Talon’s Market

Talon’s Market is a free on-campus marketplace for students experiencing food insecurity. Food insecurity is defined as the state of being without reliable access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food. According to the 2018 Food Insecurity report by the United States Government Accountability Office, 30 percent of college students are food insecure. Of those 30 percent, 56 percent are working, and 75 percent already receive financial aid.

TCC is responding to this unfortunately common crisis by:

A) Feeding students

B) Identifying the cause of this food insecurity

C) Referring students to the correct resources in order to eliminate the root cause of their food insecurity

We are also currently accepting donations via Talon's Market or any of the collection bens labeled “Talon's Market” located throughout campus.
