TCC Model United Nations Team Attends National United Nations Conference

Tallahassee Community College Model United Nations (TCC MUN) team joined nearly a thousand students from around the world at the five-day long National Model UN Conference in New York City this past week. TCC MUN’s team of eleven students represented the country of Malaysia, collaborating with other countries’ delegations to find resolutions on a variety of topics of global concern. They earned an Honorable Delegation award in New York, thereby adding to the 17 awards they earned during the 3 other state and national conferences they participated in during this past academic year.

This year’s team was led in New York by TCC MUN President Sean Rutten and Vice President Nima Torabi. They were joined by TCC students Omar Ali, Stephanie Banegas, Hannah Burda, Joseph Davis, Maximus Figueras, Christopher Polinski, Clay Roberson, Noah Snider, and Caden Stone.
