February 21, 2024

Tallahassee Community College is honored to have received two awards from Achieving the Dream (ATD). The college received the Network Legend Award and the Leah Meyer Austin Alumni Award. The special 20th-anniversary awards were presented today at the Recognitions Luncheon during the DREAM 2024 in Orlando, Florida.

“TCC has been a proud member of the Achieving the Dream network for the last 20 years,” said Dr. Jim Murdaugh, President of TCC. “To have been recognized in 2022 with their highest distinction, the Leah Meyer Austin Award, was humbling. To now be recognized again this year with an LMA Alumni Award as well as a Network Legend Award is beyond incredible. It is a testament to the work of our team and their steadfast dedication to student success.”

TCC was named an ATD Leader College in 2009 and received the ATD Leader College of Distinction designation in 2022. The College received the prestigious Leah Meyer Austin Award from ATD in 2022.
